According to a report which was announced on July 03, Hilltop Capital has bought 3 adjoining shop-houses on Tech Lim Road with the price $31M ($2,767 psf), these shophouses sit on a total land size 1,200sqft and located in the heart of Chinatown (Bukit Pasoh Conservation area).

Cushman & Wakefield said that the development is near Outram Park MRT Station and the upcoming Maxwell MRT Station on the Thomson-East Coast Line. Besides, Keong Saik Road area has a lot of restaurants, bars and cafe stores. This region attracted a large a mount of foot traffic of the tourist and locals.

It's said the investor will control a hotel under a new concept and pulling the patrons is their strategy. By this way, the Keong Saik Road area will be developed growing up.
